Young adults with cancer at greater risk for HPV-related cancers

A team of researchers at Huntsman Cancer Institute and the University of Utah (the U) found that human papillomavirus-related cancer diagnoses are more common in adolescent and young adults (AYAs) who have previously had cancer. The team is led by Anne Kirchhoff, Ph.D., MPH, investigator in the Cancer Control and Population Sciences Research Program and associate professor of pediatrics at the U.
