Big data initiative discovers new causal pathways in Alzheimer's

A new study, published on Feb. 15 in Alzheimer's & Dementia, analyzed biological samples from hundreds of individuals from a European study. Researchers looked at the biological information at various levels—genes, proteins, metabolites, cognitive ability, clinical diagnosis and whether participants developed Alzheimer's disease.
