Outpatient antibiotic prescribing in Australia fell by up to 38% during COVID-19 pandemic

New research being presented at this year's European Congress of Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases (ECCMID) in Lisbon, Portugal, (23-26 April) and published in the journal Clinical Infectious Diseases has found that the number of antibiotics prescribed in Australia fell by up to 38% during the COVID-19 pandemic.
